What is Albanesi?

Albanesi is a Montessori curriculum management tool.  It is designed purposely to guide teachers and students in selecting the Montessori materials that best serve the academic needs of the curriculum and content being studied.  Albanesi is aligned with Math and Language Arts Common Core State Standards.

Albanesi Work Flow

At the beginning of each school year students will be assessed using their corresponding grade level review tests to determine which work plan they should begin their work on.  Over the course of the year students will complete work plans, task cards and review tests until they have completed all necessary work plans for the grade level they are working at.  Students will then take the Grade Test.

Mastery Expectation:  Students must achieve 90% success on all assessment areas to move on to the next set of work plans or grade level work.

Albanesi Vocabulary

Grade Tests – Grade tests assess student ability to master all areas covered in every work plan for a specific grade level. Students must achieve 90% success to move to the next grade level work.
